Look forward to a beautiful holiday in the countryside in the health resort Eimelrod – the pearl of the Upland. Our villag is sourrounded by mixed forests and charming valleys and offers its guests clean air, traditionell hospitality and familiar atmosphere.
At cultural events, concerts, recitals and guided hiking tours you will find plenty of entertainment all year round.
In the summer there are nordic-walking-tours, guided hikes, tractor rides and hearty barbecues reguarly.
For our little guests there is a big adventure playground in the village. Additional highlights are the mining tunnel „Heinrich“, the duck pond, the Kneipp cure and the health establishment, the nature studies path and the barbecue lodge.
The well developed hiking trail network provides good opportunities for hikes and mountainbike trips. The Uplandsteig and the Diemelsteig are directly connected to the hiking trails.
In the winter a nice walk on the snow-cleared passages allows for a totally different impression of our nature. A sled ride down from the many slopes around Eimelrod or a horse-sled ride are experiences joyfully remembered. The cross-country ski run network with up to 13 kilometers long runs passes over the heavily snowy Mühlenberg and is equally suited for beginners and experts.
Sled-afternoons and torch hikes are organized frequently.
