The 64 km long Uplandsteig surrounds the municipality of Willingen and goes past our doorstep directly. The Uplandsteig reaches all the 9 districts of Willingen and you will enjoy fantastic views over fields and forests. This trail is specified as a "Qualitätsweg Wanderbares Deutschland" (first-class hikingtrail of the hikable germany) and is said to be one of the most beautiful throughout germany.
You can take it easily in several stages. We bring you to the stages starts and pick you up at the end. Against the hunger on the way we gladly supply you with packet lunches.

Also here in Eimelrod starts the thematic trail Goldspur, where you can learn a lot about ore mining and the extraction of gold in our region between the 11th and 15th century.
