Enjoy your holidays on our family-run farm in all the seasons.

Our farm lies near the center of the small village Eimelrod – the pearl oft the Upland – and is only 10 car minutes away from Willingen and the Diemelsee.

The Uplandsteig – a 64 km long hiking trail – reaches all the villages of the community of Willingen and runs just past our doorstep.

Bicylists and biker groups are frequent and most welcome guests at our home. Your vehicles are safley parked in our barn.

Hiking

As one of over 1600 "Qualitätsgastgeber Wanderbares Deutschland" (quality adviser for the hikable germany) we are the perfect starting point for your hikes across the beautiful Sauerland.

The aforementioned Uplandsteig reaches all the 9 districts of Willingen and you will enjoy fantastic views over fields and forests. This trail is specified as a "Qualitätsweg Wanderbares Deutschland" (first-class hikingtrail of the hikable germany) and is said to be one of the most beautiful throughout germany.

You can take it easily in several stages. We bring you to the stages starts and pick you up at the end. Against the hunger on the way we gladly supply you with packet lunches.

The Upländer Pilgrim's Way is another highlight for your hike.

Also here in Eimelrod starts the thematic trail Goldspur, where you can learn a lot about ore mining and the extraction of gold in our region between the 11th and 15th century.

The union of several holiday resorts into the Bergwanderpark Sauerland offer infinte possibilities for you hikers. Winter Sports

Up to 65 skiing days thanks to prepared pistes in Willingen, Usseln and Winterberg. Wether you prefer to ski, to snowboard, to cross country ski or to luge or simply hike trough the snow, in Willingen there's a thing for everyone.

On numerous pistes with varying length and levels of difficulty - partly lit by floodlights - beginner, pros and especially children will enjoy winter sport. Many ski schools offer workshops for ski-run, snowboard and cross country skiing.

For children there are special courses in the childrens ski schools. In ski-kindergarten and in the Kinderland with skicarpet (conveyor) the little ones will have much fun while the parents get some free time to enjoy the longer runs of up to 2km in length.

Most of the runs are connected by joining runs and the Willinger Skipass is valid on all of them.

With the Wintersport-Arena-Card you are free to race in all the six ski regions of the Sauerland: Willingen, Winterberg, Alt- and Neuanstenberg, at the Sahnehang and in Züschen.

If you just want to luge there are dedicated slopes in Willingen, Usseln and Schwalefeld.

Any kind of equipment you may of course rent. Countless ski rentals are found around every piste.
